100 word review for Shelf Life by Suzanne Strempek Shea

Did you hear the one about the author who ends up taking a part-time job at a bookstore and then writes about it? A great little book for anyone interested in the book trade. Suzanne Strempek Shea gives a real glimpse into the current world of bookselling and finds it humbling. Filled with stories of co-op, seasonal displays, account reps and thieves. The only incongruous part was the long break for a book tour- wonderful vignettes of life on the road, but the book is called "Shelf Life." Instructive for authors and anyone interested in how publishing works. Highly recommended.
