Parched: A Memoir of Addiction like any other memoir of Addiction

Drunk, not the movie with Richard Lewis, although you can choose one or the other no need for both. Odd sentence structure. Lots of dashes, semi-colons and convoluted sentences. Nothing is simple in this book. Strange juxtapositions. Locale: New Hampshire, Boston, Minsky's Dive Bar, slums. NPR commentator. Family Drama (of course). Brothers. Oblivious (everyone). Homosexuality. Waitresses. Seafood shacks. Law School completely sloshed! Revere Beach, what a great scene. Classicism. Snotty- superiority complex. Heartbreak. Guilt. Little girl's broken view of the world. Cheap. Recovery. Religion. I think I saw this movie or read this book before. You probably have as well.
